This is a collection of early longform ambient pieces pulled from my archives.

Versions of tracks 1 & 4 appeared in other forms in my Trecento collaboration with Sean Smith. Tracks 2 & 3 were composed for a gallery installation of sculptures by Illinois artist B. Thomas Lytle. Track 5 was an experimental piece written and recorded in one evening prior to Christmas, 2001.

Though often primitive and a bit overwrought when compared to the work I'm doing now, listening back to these pieces I found I was pleasantly surprised at some of the choices I made and directions I took.

All of the tracks have been freshly mastered, and some have been remixed to one degree or other.
