A busy musical year for me that began with the pure organic soundscapes for Prenzie Players' "Bear Girl" draws to a close with the release of an album of circuitry and remembered starlight called "Kosmischemusik."

Envisioned during the summer, researched and recorded during the dying months of 2013, the slightly more raw (than is my norm) electronics of these four pieces shape an ode to the German artists I listened to in my youth, particularly Kluster (and Eno), early Tangerine Dream, Popol Vuh, and Klaus Schulze.

I grew up and still live in the Midwest of America.

Surrounded by peers who listened to classic rock I turned away and instead filtered my youth through the sonic lens of '70s European electronic music, the ambient sounds of Eno, and the darker side of '80s new wave, post punk, and new romantic.

In my 20s I began experimenting with sound, experiments which I continue to this day.
