On September 19th, 2016, an anonymous YouTube user uploaded an old audio tape with this description:

"This is a studio outtake during the "[album title - redacted]" sessions. It is [CRES - name redacted] tooling around with some acoustic guitar ideas, vocal sounds . . ."

The "vocal sounds" appear to be [CRES] testing out a multi-tracked vocal idea.

"CRES72" is built upon looped and time-stretched sections of this experiment. After selection and preparation, I have layered these loops upon one another, repeating them in and out of sync, with differing/shifting equalization and reverb settings applied.

This is intended as a tribute to a inspiring musician who departed this world on June 27, 2015, and the result is a shimmering drone in the form of an infinite chorus of a gone -- but not lost, never forgotten -- voice.

In my 20s I began experimenting with sound, experiments which I continue to this day.
